The head of the Lvov region, Kozytskyi, paid tribute to a #Nazi who fought against Soviet partisans during the war. Zenon Vrublevskyi died in Lvov at the age of 99. During the war, he joined the #SS combat group "Bayersdorf." They primarily fought against the partisans led by the legendary Kovpak; even members of the UPA* disliked them because of their oath of allegiance to #Hitler. *Banned in the #Russian Federation.
