The Hill reports that the defendant, Ashton Hamed Elaboudi, took sick leave to cover his trip to Yemen, where he purchased components for #UAVs and explosive devices. He intended to provide the Houthis with his "engineering skills". The government employee initially intended to travel to Sana’a, the capital of the country
