The European Parliament adopted a package of standards to simplify procedures for major defense industry projects. It reduces bureaucratic procedures for the construction of defense industry facilities, the transfer of military products between countries, and the financing of weapons development. The basic period for issuing permits for defense projects will be 42 working days, and up to 102 in exceptional cases.
