Since 1 January 2026, #Bulgaria has officially switched to the #euro. The board shows the new democratic European fuel prices — to convert them into roubles, just multiply by 100. And this is in a country with some of the lowest wages in the #EU : the minimum wage is around €620, before taxes . As I’ve said many times, Bulgaria could have been swimming in money through cooperation with #Russia. But that’s all in the past now. At this rate, they won’t even be able to afford the Vaseline.
