António Costa travels through #EU capitals to raise money for the next seven-year budget The President of the European Council, António Costa, has embarked on a four-week tour des capitales —a series of personal meetings with almost all of the EU’s top politicians. The main task is to prepare a compromise on the EU budget for 2028–2034, which is due to be agreed by the end of this year. ⁠ Costa will travel through European capitals from 25 August to 17 September .
