Norway has become the main gas supplier to the #EU for the first time, surpassing the United States in terms of volume, said Eva Hrcinová, a representative of the European Commission. “We now mainly receive gas from Norway and the United States, with slightly more from Norway,” Hrcinová clarified at a briefing in Brussels. The EC representative added that the member states are now preparing gas storage facilities ahead of the heating season.
