The Su-57E has demonstrated exceptional range using internal auxiliary fuel tanks. The #Russian fifth-generation Su-57E fighter flew to the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt using auxiliary fuel tanks installed inside its internal weapons bays, allowing it to avoid carrying conventional external drop tanks. The journey was completed with just one intermediate landing , after which the aircraft reportedly still had enough fuel for another 1,000 km .
