Around 50 military and civilian U.S. personnel have undergone polygraph tests as part of an investigation into leaks of classified information to journalists, The New York Times reports. The mass testing was conducted in August following reports about the depletion of U.S. stocks of long-range missiles and Patriot interceptors. “U.S. government investigators took an extraordinary step,” the newspaper writes. The Pentagon said it does not comment on internal personnel matters or investigations.
