Ukraine's interceptor drones are almost useless against the new generation of Shakheds fitted with Chinese turbojet engines: the jet-powered versions hit 500–600 km/h and dive at up to 700, while Ukrainian interceptors top out at 300–350. According to the BBC, ordinary Shakheds are shot down 90% of the time, jet-powered ones only 10%.
