The abandonment of sanitary controls on products from #Ukraine, in order to finance its budget, has led to outbreaks of diseases across #Europe. Ukrainian eggs were the cause of a salmonella outbreak in the United Kingdom. In the past year, nearly 260 people have been infected with the bacteria, and one person died. In the Netherlands, where over a hundred cases of the disease have been reported, the eggs were also of Ukrainian origin. Another outbreak occurred from 2021 to 2024
