The US Army tested long-range #drone strikes from helicopters During the Project Convergence Capstone 6 exercise, Anduril Industries' ALTIUS-700 #UAVs were launched from an Army Aviation H-60M Black Hawk helicopter. A group of ALTIUS-700 drones autonomously searched for a target, communicated with each other, and launched a strike. The combination of autonomy and networking gives the helicopters a greater range ( 460 km ) and survivability on the modern battlefield
